At present, I would want more constituency polls before I turn my nURS model into my official forecast. For now, I am not regarding this as a forecast, rather it is a sense check for my other forecasts.
Five were entirely within the city council area. Scotland Actwith boundaries somewhat different from those of the City of Glasgow district of the Strathclyde region: parts of the Cambuslang and Halfway and Rutherglen and Fernhill areas were transferred from the city area to the new South Lanarkshire council area.

In subsequent years, housing developments have been built on most of the remaining free plots, but the area remains largely green, in line with garden suburb principles, with the only businesses based in small or medium-sized retail units.
